Fina is a quiet dog on her stock with a fair bit of power. She has a calm and definite way of taking hold of her stock. She can have some tension. She is takes good responsibility for her lines and handles tough stock well.

Fina was bred and raised by my friend Darlene Hutchins, who trialed her in Open.

I took a chance and flew to CO with Fina for the finals. She handled the stock with complete authority, but had troubles with the field and pressure.

I promised Darlene that I would make sure Fina had the type of home Darlene wanted for her, a first pick work dog and living as a loved companion in the home. Fina is now a working farm dog managing a commercial flock of 150 Katadins and keeping the bed warm when she's not working. She is a loved friend and valued partner.
